Am Freitag, den 30. August, bringt euch die Band The Greek Music Train in der Park-Kultur auf eine spannende Zeitreise durch die Musik Griechenlands. Der musikalische Startpunkt liegt in den 1930er Jahren, von wo aus es im Zeitraffer bis in die heutigen 2020er Jahre geht. Für diejenigen, die die alten, herrlichen Lieder noch nicht kennen, gibt die Band hilfreiche Erklärungen zu den Songs. Dabei bleibt es nicht nur bei der Originalversion: Die Band bringt ihre eigenen Interpretationen und neuen Arrangements ein. Es erwartet euch eine bunte Mischung aus traditioneller Folklore und mitreißender Tanzmusik – Tanzen ist ausdrücklich erwünscht!
The Greek Music Train besteht aus erfahrenen Musikern, die seit über dreißig Jahren gemeinsam auf der Bühne stehen: Theo (Keyboards), Sakis (Gesang und Baglama), Lakis (Gesang), und Gregor Kokonos (Bouzouki). Alle Bandmitglieder treten auch in anderen Formationen auf, wie zum Beispiel in der bekannten Band AIGAIO, die sich auf ein tolles comeback vorbereitet.
Konzert beginnt um 20 Uhr in der Park-Kultur auf der Oststraße 118. Die Band spielt zunächst 20 Songs, gefolgt von einer kurzen Pause, danach geht es mit weiteren 20 Liedern weiter. Und je nach Stimmung gibt es noch einige Überraschungen aus dem Repertoire. Erfrischende Getränke zu moderaten Preisen stehen bereit, und der Eintritt ist frei. Eine Spende in den herumgehenden Hut wird jedoch sehr geschätzt!
The Greek Music Train: Ένα Μουσικό Ταξίδι στην Ελλάδα
Την Παρασκευή, 30 Αυγούστου, το The Greek Music Train θα σας ταξιδέψει στη μουσική της Ελλάδας στο Park-Kultur. Το ταξίδι ξεκινάει από τη δεκαετία του 1930 και συνεχίζει με γρήγορους ρυθμούς μέχρι να φτάσει στη σημερινή δεκαετία του 2020. Για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν τα όμορφα παλιά τραγούδια, η μπάντα θα παρέχει χρήσιμες εξηγήσεις. Αλλά δεν θα μείνουν μόνο στις αυθεντικές εκτελέσεις – θα προσφέρουν τις δικές τους ερμηνείες και νέες διασκευές. Περιμένετε μια ζωντανή μίξη παραδοσιακής φολκλόρ και ζωηρής χορευτικής μουσικής – και ναι, ο χορός είναι έντονα ενθαρρυνόμενος!
Το The Greek Music Train αποτελείται από έμπειρους μουσικούς που παίζουν μαζί για πάνω από τριάντα χρόνια: Ο Θέο (Πλήκτρα), ο Σάκης (Φωνητικά και Μπαγλαμά), ο Λάκης (Φωνητικά) και ο Γρηγόρης Κοκωνός (Μπουζούκι). Όλα τα μέλη της μπάντας συμμετέχουν και σε άλλες ομάδες, όπως η γνωστή μπάντα AIGAIO, η οποία αυτή την περίοδο είναι σε παύση.
Η συναυλία ξεκινάει στις 20:00 στο Park-Kultur, Oststraße 118. Αρχικά η μπάντα θα παίξει 20 τραγούδια, ακολουθούμενη από ένα μικρό διάλειμμα, και μετά θα συνεχίσει με άλλα 20 τραγούδια. Ανάλογα με τη διάθεση, μπορεί να υπάρχουν και κάποιες εκπλήξεις από το ρεπερτόριο. Δροσιστικά ποτά θα διατίθενται σε λογικές τιμές, και η είσοδος είναι δωρεάν. Ωστόσο, θα εκτιμηθεί ιδιαίτερα μια συνεισφορά στον περιφερόμενο κουβά!

On Friday, August 30th, The Greek Music Train will take you on an exciting journey through the music of Greece at Park-Kultur. The journey begins in the 1930s, speeding through time until it reaches the current 2020s. For those unfamiliar with the beautiful old songs, the band will provide helpful explanations. But they won’t just stick to the original versions – they’ll offer their own interpretations and new arrangements. Expect a vibrant mix of traditional folklore and lively dance music – and yes, dancing is definitely encouraged!
The Greek Music Train is made up of seasoned musicians who have been performing together for over thirty years: Theo (Keyboards), Sakis (Vocals and Baglama), Lakis (Vocals), and Gregor Kokonos (Bouzouki). All members also perform with other groups, like the well-known band AIGAIO, which is preparing for a great comeback.
The concert starts at 8 PM at Park-Kultur, Oststraße 118. The band will play 20 songs initially, followed by a short break, and then continue with another 20 songs. Depending on the mood, there might be some extra surprises in store. Refreshing drinks will be available at reasonable prices, and entry is free. However, a donation to the band in the passing hat would be greatly appreciated!
